New York Requiem.

It is with the greatest of pleasure that I am able to announce that New York Requiem is available to purchase from our website https://calomusic.com

A whole year in the writing and producing, the album and movie tell the story of the September 11th World Trade Center attacks. All of the footage in the movie is either public domain or contemporary news reports and it tells the story in images and music. There is no narration because this was never intended to be a documentary. It is nothing more than a musical response to the terrible events of that day.

Featuring my dear friends, Rachel Hickman (Mezzo Soprano) and Steve Stewart (Soprano Cornet/Piccolo Trumpet), the album is musically varied, ranging from the atmospheric opening (The City Sleeps) to the powerful Dies Irae (The Towers Fall) to the climactic ending (Song of Hope). This was a difficult subject to approach and we have tried to not be overly sensitive or maudlin. Rachel and Steve interpreted my intentions perfectly and we produced a work of which we are all very proud. If nothing else, I urge you to watch the Movie which is the sum of the entire work.

The Movie may be accessed for a mere £3, with the Album and Movie just £5.99. You can pay by Paypal or Credit Card and all the proceeds go toward supporting the performers. For the price of a cup of coffee, you get our entire year's work knowing that your hard earned cash is going to a good cause. The album is delivered in High Quality (48Khz, 24bit).

Please support our efforts. This was an enormous amount of work which deserves to be heard by a wider audience. Please head over to our website https://calomusic.com

There is a lot more detail about the project there and you can, of course, purchase the Movie or the Album. We sincerely hope that you enjoy New York Requiem.

As you will all no doubt be aware, New York Requiem is my latest work and album. It is based on the timeline of the 2001, 9/11 tragedy and the movie shows this in detail. We have only recently passed
